The New Pornographers
The New Pornographers will be performing at the Newport Music Hall on Tuesday May 9th, 2023. The show will start at 8:00pm and tickets are available now. This will be a great opportunity to see one of the most popular indie rock bands around today.
The New Pornographers are a Canadian indie rock band that formed in Vancouver in 1997. The band currently consists of A.C. Newman, Carl Newman, Dan Bejar, Neko Case, Kathryn Calder, Todd Fancey, John Collins, and Blaine Thurier. The band is known for their catchy hooks and harmonies, as well as their use of multiple instruments including the keyboard, guitar, and drums.
The band has released eight studio albums, the most recent being In the Morse Code of Brake Lights, which was released in 2019. The album peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and received positive reviews from critics. The band is currently touring in support of the album and will be making a stop in Columbus, Ohio on May 9th.
