Owl City
Owl City is an American electronica project created in 2007 in Owatonna, Minnesota; it is one project of musician and singer-songwriter Adam Young. The project’s debut album, Maybe This Christmas Tree, was released on iTunes on December 16, 2008, while the physical release was on February 24, 2009. Owl City has released seven studio albums, one live album, two video albums, four extended plays, and 27 singles. His fourth studio album, The Midsummer Station, was released on August 17, 2012.
Owl City’s live shows are known for their high-energy, synth-based sound, as well as for Young’s charismatic stage presence. The live band consists of Breanne Düren (keyboards, vocals), Jerry Becker (guitar, keyboards), Sam Hollander (drums), and Daniel Jorgensen (bass, vocals).
