Jake Scott
Jake Scott is a singer, songwriter, and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his work as a solo artist and as a member of the indie rock band The Streets on Fire. Scott has released three solo albums, The Streets on Fire (2007), I’ll Never Be Cool (2009), and Neon Nights (2011). His fourth album, California Dreamin’, is set to be released in 2020.
Scott began his musical career as a member of The Streets on Fire, an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band released their debut album, The Streets on Fire, in 2007. The album was well-received by critics and led to Scott being nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for the song “L.A. Woman”. The band’s second album, I’ll Never Be Cool, was released in 2009. The album’s lead single, “Cool Kids”, was a top 40 hit in the United States.
